Hoping your days have been merry and bright...
Well, hello again...just wanted to share a few bits of Christmas beauty after a rather extended absence from this space--time and energy have simply been spent in other places for the past several weeks.
We have been sniffling, sneezing, coughing and wheezing here, taking comfort in peppermint tea, eucalyptus baths, and familiar books (Bear Feels Sick, anyone?), and watching more movies than can be good for us. But it seems we're recovering now, and we were able to find moments of peace and joy in the midst. (And no, I did not make that beautiful Christmas bread; it was a gift from a dear dear neighbor and baker extraordinaire.)
Hoping you find rest and refreshment in these remaining days of 2011.
Lovely photos! Glad you and your family are on the mend--'tis the season for sniffles! I spy a hand-knit on your daughter... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks TW! And yes, that is a hand-knit (: It's alpaca and has been shedding little bits of purple fuzz all over the house...
ReplyDeleteSorry you weren't feeling well:( We had the same thing right after the Holdiays. That bread looks amazing!! I need a neighbor like that:)
